🌸 Menstrual Dignity Support
Our Menstrual Dignity Support Program addresses the immediate and long-term challenges faced by girls and women due to period poverty. The program ensures that menstruation never becomes a barrier to education, health, participation, or self-worth.
Distribution of Sanitary Towels
We provide reliable access to safe, high-quality menstrual products for girls and women who cannot afford them. Distribution is carried out through schools, community centers, health facilities, and faith-based institutions to ensure consistent and dignified access.
Priority is given to:
- School-going girls at risk of absenteeism
- Women and girls from low-income households
- Vulnerable populations, including those in rural and underserved communities
By providing reusable and sustainable menstrual products, we reduce long-term costs for families while promoting environmentally responsible solutions.
Menstrual Hygiene Education
Access to products alone is not enough. We deliver comprehensive menstrual hygiene education that equips girls and women with accurate information and practical skills.
Education sessions cover:
- Understanding the menstrual cycle
- Proper use and care of reusable sanitary products
- Personal hygiene and infection prevention
- Managing menstruation with confidence and dignity
Our sessions are culturally sensitive, age-appropriate, and delivered in safe, supportive environments to encourage open discussion and learning.
Community Sensitization to End Stigma and Misinformation
Menstrual stigma remains a major barrier to dignity and inclusion. We conduct community sensitization forums involving parents, teachers, religious leaders, men, boys, and local authorities.
These engagements aim to:
- Break harmful myths and misconceptions around menstruation
- Normalize menstruation as a natural biological process
- Encourage supportive attitudes within families, schools, and communities
- Promote shared responsibility for menstrual health and dignity
Through open dialogue and education, we foster communities that protect, support, and empower menstruating girls and women.
